Accurate before it’s anything else.

REALHUE

RealHUE is the calibrated color foundation under every Pearla camera. Every supported iPhone and lens was measured, so your image starts from a known, neutral place, before log, film emulation, HDR, or any custom look is applied.

Why RealHUE exists

Every iPhone already has an opinion.

Phones do not show you the scene. They show you their interpretation of it, and that interpretation shifts from lens to lens, model to model, and frame to frame. Before you choose a single creative move, the color has already been decided for you. RealHUE takes that decision back.

// 01 What it is

A calibration layer, not a look.

RealHUE introduces no contrast curve, no saturation bias, and no creative interpretation. It is a neutral, accurate starting point that makes everything built on top of it more consistent, from film emulation to custom profiles to log capture.

// 02 How it works

Measured, not guessed.

Every supported iPhone, starting with iPhone 11, was individually measured across all of its lenses and multiple lighting conditions. That campaign builds a consistent color foundation for each device and focal length, so color rendering stays reliable no matter which camera or lens the shot was taken on.

// 03 Where it sits

After the gamut. Before the grade.

Sensor data is first mapped into Pearla Wide Gamut, the wide working space. RealHUE calibrates the color there, correcting each device and lens, so the color grade and film emulation that follow start from a neutral, repeatable base.
