Settings Directory

Pearla Revela User Manual · Chapter 29 of 30 · Part VIII. Reference

Use this directory to locate settings, sheets, windows and inspector tabs. Each entry gives the control’s purpose and the section that explains it. An alphabetical index follows the tables.

29.1 The Settings Window

Where to find it: Revela → Settings (⌘,)

The window is titled Settings. Four tabs run in a row of their own under the title, each an icon with a label: Loupe, Scopes, Library, Export. It opens on Loupe. Changes take effect immediately; there is no Save. The settings belong to this Mac and this user, not to a catalog. The window itself, and its place among the app’s windows, is Chapter 2, section 2.8.

29.2 Sheets and Windows Reached from the Menu Bar

Each row names a sheet or window, the route that opens it, what it is for, and the chapter that explains it. Rows follow the menu bar’s order: Revela, File, Catalogue, Window, Help. Sync Settings and Transfers open from the Repositories sheet and are listed under Catalogue. The menus themselves, item by item with shortcuts, are Chapter 28.
